- 2 egg yolks
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 cups all purpose white flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ⅓ cup oil
- 2 egg whites, stiffly beaten

1. Preheat Waffle maker. |
2. Beat egg whites in a metal bowl until stiff. |
3. Put all ingredients except egg whites in a large mixer bowl. |
4. Beat on low until moistened. Increase to medium, mix until smooth. |
5. By hand, gently fold in beaten egg white. It is easiest to use a rubber spatula to do the folding of the egg white with the mixture. |
6. Pour 1/2 cup (125 mL) batter over grids. Close waffle maker, bake until golden, 2 1/2 - 3 minutes. |
7. Serve with your favorite topping. |
